I’m Nadine Wren, and I’m a visual artist based in the north of England. My inspiration for art comes from nature and all her forms. I love the patterns that are found in the natural world and I infuse them in my art. One of my favourite things to do is to go out in the woods and explore everything around me. You never know what you might find!

My main art subjects are animals and plants, but I’m also into folklore. There is so much inspiration in the stories our ancestors passed down through word of mouth. It’s like an alternative history that evolves as time goes on. Folklore is more alive than what you read in history books, in my opinion.
